奈良基督教会

奈良公園の興福寺に隣接する和風キリスト教会礼拝堂です

県が奈良公園地区に新築する建物の外観を規制していて、和風が採用されたようです

教会堂の内部はさすがに厳粛な造り
小組格天井が吹き抜けのように高くなっています

「美歌320番」

主よみもとに近づかん

主よ、みもとに　近づかん
登る道は　十字架に
ありともなど　悲しむべき

さすらう間に　日は暮れ
石の上の　仮寝の
夢にもなお　天(あめ)を望み

主の使いは　み空に
通う梯(はし)の　上より
招きぬれば　いざ登りて

目覚めて後(のち)　枕の
石を立てて　恵みを
いよよ切に　称えつつぞ

うつし世をば　離れて
天駆(あまが)ける日　来たらば
いよよ近く　みもとに行き
主の御顔を　仰ぎ見ん
